Recreational Basketball 2022/2023
The Recreational Winter Basketball Program for 2022/2023 will be a bit different this year! Here's what to expect:

All players grades 3 to 8 will have a half-court practice session on Monday or Tuesday evenings. Grades 9 through 12 will not have a practice session as most of the kids in that age group stated they did not want practices, just games.

All games for grades 3 & up will be played on Saturdays.

Co-ed 1st and 2nd will play on Sundays and have a practice session immediately prior to their game. We will use volunteers to referee those games. 

For all age groups we will be following the guidelines set in place by NBA/USA Youth Basketball with slight modifications (example: we do not have a 9' high basket for ages 9-11). Coaches will receive copies of the guidelines. 

We will be using professional referees whenever possible for all games for grades 3 - 12. 

We will need volunteers to coach, run the scoreboard, and track fouls. If we do not get enough volunteers or participants for a particular age group, that age group will not play and refunds will be issued.

Pre-shrunk shirts will be ordered for all registered players.

VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE:
a. THE TIMES LISTED ARE NOT THE GAMES SCHEDULE.
b. THE GAMES SCHEDULE WILL NOT BE FINALIZED UNTIL REGISTRATION CLOSES ON NOVEMBER 5TH.
c. NOVEMBER 5TH IS A HARD CLOSE. ABSOLUTELY NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE PERMITTED THIS YEAR.
